This peak is one of the most beautiful and attractive peaks in the northern mountains of the Tian-Shan range. We can see the city of Almaty from the top. The height of the peak from the beautiful BAO (Big Almaty Lake) is 3680 meters. It is an easy excursion starting from the paved road (with only 3 km of path) or from the BAO about 13 km to go and 13 km to go back.

The last 500 meters need some climbing skills but it is suitable for everyone without special equipment with a little attention.

We will start the trek from Kosmostanzia for about 3 km to the top. The level of the trek is easy. After the trek we will stop at BAO, the Big Almaty lake to relax and enjoy the day.

Tour program:

09.30 - Pickup from the hotel and drive to Kosmostanzia (40 km from Almaty)

10.00 - Start of the excursion

12.00 / 13.00 - Lunch break with some sandwiches, bananas, dried fruit or cold pasta salad, water included

15.00 - End of the trek, we will return and stop at BAO, the Big Almaty lake

17.00 - Return to the city from BAO
